My business is an art tutoring service that teaches 7-11 year old children the basics of graphite pencil media over a ten week course (2 hours per week). About 5 students per class.
I am teaching art (graphite pencil) basics from how to hold the pencil, to achieve different line strokes, to completing a realist self-portrait as their final poroject after 10 classes.
Little Picasso an art tutoring service provided to elementary and middle school youth around the ages seven to eleven. We teach special skills necessary to learn the basic use of the graphite pencil media and a completion of a realistic self-portrait. In these 10 weeks we want to bring out the Little Picasso inside of our students. We will strengthen and sharpen the students’ drawing and observational skills.
We chose this age specifically because around the ages eight to ten years old is the drawing stage when the child tries to perfect their artwork and make it as realistic as possible (hoping to achieve realism) but this is also the age where they struggle with perspective so we will use this service as the way to guide them to the right direction faster.
Little Picasso will first start out tutoring in only graphite media which will be the most important media taught in our art tutoring business because in the process of learning more about using the graphite, the students will also improve in their observational skills. Little Picasso will only be during the summer. Each semester is ten classes which are two hours each. Little Picasso will start out home-based.
There is a maximum of ten students per class because then they will be able to get the attention they deserve and payed for. Our goal is to teach twenty students this summer, so we will make a group A and group B going at the same time but in a different day of the week.
For the people interested in the program they can sign up by providing their names, email address and/or their number on Little Picasso’s website or they could contact the CEO via email on littlepicasso.eman@gmail.com. We will then send them an application for them to sign on that includes all the terms and conditions to the business. The sign-up will be first come first serve and after we confirm and approve the ten students per semester, we then close registration. If some customers were not able to register then they can wait until the registration for the next semester. The customers will also need to pay the full payment online before first class (preferred) or upfront on the first class for the whole semester (not recommended). The cost per student per semester is $300.
